Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred
It’s Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred release day!
This expansion is RAD y’all! I had a blast helping out on it. I did a ton of creature foley variants (standard, fire, water, stone, etc of several different creature archetypes), a bunch of VFX, the front end launch/login/character create screens, and a bunch of other stuff.
I’ve adored working on the Diablo franchise ever since the initial version of DIV, through seasonal content, the first expansion: Vessel of Hatred, a really cool spooky SFX album, and now this expansion. The Blizzard team is so great at so many things but they are also just a joy to work with. This has definitely been a career highlight.
So what are you waiting for?! Go pick it up and dive into Skovos…but don’t get corpse exploded on the way!
